Custom Frozen Elsa Coronation Doll by daphnetails Custom Frozen Elsa Coronation Doll by daphnetails
So this time around I thought I was doing a "quick and simple" project because I didn't have to reroot or repaint. I used a Disney Store Elsa doll as the base and thought she was pretty perfect so all I had to do was restyle her hair and sew up a dress, right? Right...

Everything has been hand sewn and her dress hand embroidered (we won't go into how many hours that took...).

Thanks for looking! :)

EDIT 2/26/14: Thank you everybody for the kind words.

***Updating with a couple of FAQ:***

Do you take commissions?
-I'm sorry, at this time I am not taking commissions. These dresses are too time consuming to repeat.

Do you have a pattern?
-No, I do not have a pattern. I cut the fabric pieces directly to the doll as I go.

Hand embroidery takes FOREVER! When I make plushies that part usually takes the longest.

Anyway, how much did the doll cost? I happen to live right by a mall with a disney store.

Wow she is beautiful!!!! Hand embroidered.... oh my gosh I CAN imagine how look it took you to finish this. I just finished my Anna coronation dress and that too took forever. One question, how did you made the crown?

This is amazing I'm so impressed with your embroidery. You didn't use a sewing machine for that?? Your stitches are so tight

I know these are super time consuming and you're dress is DNP but it would have complete the whole look with a glove ( just one though) but the fingers are probobly a nightmare to sew
